Asus Launches ROG Gaming Smartphone In India For INR 69,990
Asus, the Taiwanese electronics and hardware company has launched its popular ROG (Republic Of Gamers) gaming smartphone in India today.
The game-centric smartphone features 6-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, HDR visuals, 1ms response time and 10000:1 contrast ratio for rendering smooth visuals while playing high-end games. The device is tailored for running graphics rich games by powering it with an overclocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, clocked up to 2.9GHz and Qualcomm Adreno 630 GPU.
With an exciting design, Asus ROG sports side-mounted ports that are optimized for landscape mode rendering the look and feel of a gaming console when accessories are connected.
Deemed as the world’s first gaming smartphone with multi-layer cooling, ROG features a carbon cooling pad, copper heating spreader and a 3D vapor-chamber for mitigating the heating of the device while playing videos for a prolonged time.
One of the most exciting features of the Asus ROG is ultrasonic AirTrigger touch sensors for offering gaming console-like experiences.
Despite not being a smartphone intended for photography, the gaming smartphone features two rear cameras of 12MP and 8MP and LED flash. Upfront, Asus ROG has an 8MP camera for clicking selfies.
To offer maximum game playing time, the ROG is fitted with a massive 4,000 mAh battery equipped with Asus’ HyperCharge technology. The company claims that when it is fully charged, the device can last up to 7 hours. Asus has also provided an additional type-c charging port on the side panel of the device to charge the smartphone while playing.
