Karma Drone: GoPro’s First Ever Drone Can Fly At 14,500ft
Short Bytes: GoPro Inc. has launched the Karma drone which can be used to fly a GoPro HERO using a stabilizer connected to the drone. The Karma drone is controlled using a Karma Controller which also displays the video feed from the camera. There is a Karma Grip Handle for mounting cameras on the ground.
The Karma drone is a quadcopter, with removable propellers, which can fold its arms when placed in the carry case, the Karma Case. It can house HERO Series cameras HERO5 Black, HERO Session, and HERO4 Black/Silver in the Karma stabilizer. There is a Karma Grip Handle for the times when you don’t want your GoPro to talk to the clouds.
The Karma drone can be controlled using the buttons and analog sticks present on the Karma controller which also shows you game-style flight view on the 720p 5-inch display. The Karma drone uses a 5100 mAh Li-ion battery which enables a flight time of 20 minutes. It weighs a little more than a kilo and can fly at 35mph at an altitude of 14,500ft.

It doesn’t have much as a drone but, at least, you do have a GoPro drone hardware to shoot aerial view using your HERO series camera. The GoPro Karma drone will up for sale from October 23 at $799.
