Honor 20, 20 Pro and 20i Arrive At The Indian Shores
Following several rumors and leaks, Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched its Honor 20 series — comprising — the Honor 20, the Honor 20 Pro and the Honor 20i in India.
Honor 20
Starting with the Honor 20, the smartphone acts as a direct competition to the OnePlus 7 and comes with a 6.26-inch punch-hole display with a screen resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels.
The camera department is the smartphone’s highlight and has four cameras at the back (48MP, 16MP, 2MP, 2MP) and a 32MP front snapper which supports 3D portrait lighting. The cameras come with support for AI-enabled features such as AI Ultra Clarity, AIS, Night Mode, and more.
The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 980 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 3,750mAh battery and runs the company’s EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
The smartphone supports GPU Turbo 3.0 tech and has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, it comes in Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black color options.
The Honor 20 is priced at Rs 32,999 and will be available to buy starting June 25 via Flipkart.
Honor 20 Pro
The Honor 20 Pro is the elder sibling of the Honor 20. While it shares most of the specs with the Honor 20, it is different in some aspects. The Honor 20 Pro has a slightly different camera configuration that includes a 48MP main sensor, 16MP super wide angle lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and 2MP macro camera at the back. The one at the front stands at 32MP.
The Honor 20 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM and is backed by a bigger 4,000mAh battery with support for Honor SuperCharge fast charging tech.
The Honor 20 Pro is priced at Rs 39,999 and will soon be available in India.
Honor 20i
The Honor 20i is a mid-ranger which sports a 6.21-inch FullView Full HD+ display and is powered by a Kirin 710 processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, there are three cameras at the back (24MP, 8MP, 2MP) along with a 32MP selfie shooter.
Additionally, the smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh battery and runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie, and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Honor 20i is priced at Rs 14,999 and will be up for grabs, starting June 18 via Flipkart.
Additionally, the company launched the Honor Pad 5 alongside them.
Honor smartphones have been launched at a time when their future remains uncertain due to the recent US ban and major companies leaving its side. We are not sure what will happen to the recently-launched devices.
