Honda E Electric Car Specifications
The final production variant of the Honda E electric car features 4 doors, circular sockets for taillight and headlight along with an all-digit rearview mirror. The car will be powered by a lithium-ion battery capable of 124-mile range on a single full charge. The Honda electric car will also feature fast charging capable of filling the battery 80% in just 30 minutes.
This type of range will be perfect for city cruising and a much cheaper alternative for people who want a car for daily office travel.
The production variant also ditches the spoked wheels with standard alloys. However, the overall design of the Honda E electric car looks almost similar to the Urban EV concept showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show.
When Will Honda E Launch In Europe or America?
The Honda E will likely launch in Europe very soon as its initial reception the UK is overwhelmingly positive. As of writing this article, almost 25,000 interesting impressions have been requested for the Japanese electric car.
The car is not expected to launch in America due to its relatively small size. However, Honda already sells a fully electric sedan in America called Honda Clarity electric. The car has a 4 door design and an EPA estimated range of 89 miles.
Recently, Volkswagen also unveiled its own upcoming electric car called the ID 3. It is an electric successor to the Golf GTI and is based on the MEB (Modularer E-Antriebs-Baukasten) platform.
Similar to Volkswagen ID 3, the Honda E will also launch at this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany.
