Last month, Xiaomi Mi A2 launch in Spain made quite a buzz in the mobile community.
Today, Xiaomi has officially launched Xiaomi Mi A2 in India, priced at Rs. 16,999. The new Xiaomi device is the successor of Mi A1 which was the company’s first Android One device.

Xiaomi’s latest Mi phone has an Aluminium Unibody design, coupling with an arch-shaped structure which makes it an exceptional looking phone. The phone is only 7.3mm thick and weighs around 166g.
The 5.99 inches screen is an IPS LCD full HD+ display with an 18:9 ratio. Also, Mi A2 comes with Gorilla Glass 5, giving maximum protection from accidental drops.
On paper, Xiaomi Mi A2 holds a 12 MP and 20 MP dual camera setup, both having a f/1.8 aperture. The Mi A2 camera also features an AI portrait mode and smart lens which click images based on different lighting conditions. On the other hand, the phone carries a 20MP front camera with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).
This is Xiaomi’s second phone featuring Android One (Stock Android Experience), which is based on Android Oreo (8.1). Good news is Mi device will soon be updated to Android Pie.
The Mi A2 device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 with 4 GB and 6 GB variants. Also, the device packs an Adreno 520 GPU. Surprisingly, the phone doesn’t have a headphone jack.
Mi A2 is exclusively launching Quick Charge 4.0 for Indian customers.
The new Xiaomi 4GB variant with 32/64 GB storage will be available on August 16. You can pre-order the phone from Amazon.in and Mi.in from tomorrow.
