Seer – Apex Legends’ Upcoming Legend Is An Afrofuturistic Character
Respawn has been hinting about the upcoming legend in Apex for the past few days. With stories about The Moth and The Flame, we’ve been getting a backstory of the character, which is now revealed. The upcoming character in Apex Legends will be called “Seer,” an afrofuturistic character due to come in Season 10.
Now, Respawn has released a new story that tells us about the Seer’s childhood and gives us a close look at the upcoming Legend. Dropping the next story in the Outlands, Metamorphosis provides us with a glimpse at the Seer’s background. The story explains how “a woman will rise bearing the mark of the moth…, and her firstborn will be a cursed child.” The story further tells, “Refuse the child’s gaze, or be undone. One glance will reduce a mountain to dust, a king to a beggar, and an ocean to a desert.”

Apex Legends: Seer
So far, the official Apex Legends post reveals that the Seer will be rocking a ‘microdrone’ along with an “artist’s eye,” through which “Seer spots opportunities that other Legends might miss, and seizes them in the most beautiful way he can.” However, this is all that has been revealed so far about the upcoming legend Seer.
In addition, a new LMG called the “Rampage” would make its way to Apex Legends in Season 10 alongside the Seer. Moreover, as much anticipated by players, Season 10 of Apex Legends will introduce Ranked mode for Arenas.
Not to mention, more information on the legend will be disclosed at EA Play Live, which will go live on July 22nd at 1 PM ET/ 10 PM PT.
