After launching the Redmi Note 7 under its newly-made Redmi sub-brand in China, Xiaomi has been leaving out hints for its Indian launch. Now, after various speculations, we have an official India launch date for the same.
The Redmi Note 7 will hit the stage at an event scheduled for February 28 in New Delhi, India, for which the company has started sending out media invites.
For those who have forgotten, the Redmi Note 7 has its highlight in the form of a 48MP rear snapper, along with a 5MP secondary camera.
The front-facing snapper is rated at 13MP. All three cameras come with support for AI-enabled features.
The smartphone sports a 6.3-inch display with a water drop notch and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor with Adreno 512 GPU.
The device comes in three RAM/ROM options: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/64GB. However, there is no word as to what variants will make it to India.
The Redmi Note 7 is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
However, there is no word on the pricing and availability details yet. Also, we don’t know anything regarding the Redmi Note 7 Pro variant, which hasn’t made an appearance in China as well.
