Razer’s New Edible ‘Chewing Gum’ Will Boost Gamers’ Focus & Reflexes

Razer was previously known for its flavored energy drink “RESPAWN,” which was launched back in 2019. Now, the company has teamed up with 5 Gum from Mars Wrigley to create edible chewing gum “Respawn by 5 Gum”.

The chewing gum will be available in three different flavors: tropical punch, pomegranate watermelon, and cool mint. The price of the chewing gums will start at $2.99 per 15-stick pack or $27.99 for a ten pack.

Interestingly, the Razer’s chewing gum aims at boosting the focus and response time of the gamers, which is quite exciting.

To develop this chewing gum, an “extensive amount of R&D” took place, says Razer. The company studied the gaming schedule, daily regimens, and snacking habits of both casual & pro gamers to come up with the final product. Razer says that it wanted to come up with something that can be consumed at any time of the day.

As per the reports, gamers were not happy with the high amount of caffeine in the energy drink mix. That’s why, in these new chewing gums, the only source of caffeine is the green tea extract, thereby leading to the required caffeine level for gamers.

Surprisingly, the chewing gum is black in color. However, as per Razer reviewer’s guide, the gum won’t turn your mouth black on consumption.

Thanks to this partnership with Razer, one of the known candy manufacturers have made their way into the gaming world. Being an avid gamer myself, I would definitely like to try the Razer chewing gum to see the results.
