PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 Update: Erangel 2.0 Map, New Character Carlo & More
The PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update is going to roll out soon, and a few brand new features and details have already been leaked. As stated by Mr. Ghost Gaming, details regarding the new reward system in PUBG Mobile were leaked previously. The latest ones throw light on the introduction of a new character named Carlo.
The new PUBG Mobile character Carlo will be similar to Sara, which was introduced in 2019. Sara has unique abilities that can be used in the EvoGround modes. The PUBG Mobile latest update is expected to release on February 12, 2020.
New Features In PUBG Mobile Latest Update
Erangel 2.0
The upgraded version of the Erangel map was in the works for a long time and has already made its debut in the PC version of PUBG. Erangel 2.0 map was being teased since August 2019, and now, the feature will finally release in the upcoming update.
The promo video of Erangel 2.0 features a modified Yasnaya Polyana map, Prison, and Mylta Power. Developers have also worked on the grass texture and made the ground greener. The number of hoardings has been increased, and buildings in the game look less bulky than before.
New TDM Map In PUBG: Extreme Cold Mode
The latest update will bring a new Extreme Cold Mode in the game. A leaked video by Mr. Ghost Gaming showed a snowy team deathmatch map which is probably in Ice Castle which is a part of the Spawn island. The new map will be based on the design of the spawn island that has been integrated with the Winter Mode.
Color Blind Mode
This is going to be one of the most significant development in the PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update. In this mode, PUBG Mobile has tried to make the gameplay easy for the people who suffer from color blindness. In the next few updates, this feature will be modified regularly.
General Manager of Global Publishing at Tencent Games, Vincent Wang announced the launch of the Color Blind Mode in the finals of PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Fall Split. He said that PUBG Mobile is focusing on increasing the audience and make things more convenient for them.
