OPPO’s Foldable Smartphone Looks Like Huawei Mate X Rip Off
Following the launch of foldable smartphones by Samsung and Huawei, OPPO will soon join the league as teased via images on Weibo. However, the company first requires enough demand to be able to make the foldable device official.
According to the images, OPPO’s future foldable phone will adopt the design ethos of the Huawei Mate X, which folds outwards transforming into a smaller device from a large one.
The images further suggest that the device will have thin bezels, however, visible enough. Additionally, when folded, the device will have the dual-camera module with an LED flash and the company’s’ logo at the side of the device.
So the rear camera can also be used as the selfie camera by folding the device. However, other details regarding the smartphone still remain unknown.
As OPPO says it will wait for the public response and decide the release of its foldable smartphone accordingly, we will have to wait until something official is made by the company.
To recall, OPPO, at the ongoing MWC 2019, unveiled its first 5G smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and its 10x lossless optical zoom tech.
So stay tuned for further details.
