Chinese company OnePlus is conducting a contest called the #PMChallenge for which it is inviting users to design features for its OxygenOS which will be incorporated into the upcoming OS version by the company.
Interested users can send across his or her PRD (product requirements document) to OnePlus Forum in a new thread in the Tech section with answers to a couple of questions prepared by OnePlus. The new thread is required to contain”#PMChallenge”.
The last date for submission of the PRD is February 22, following which the entries will be assessed by senior members of the OnePlus software team, and a winner will be announced in mid-March.
Once the winning feature is integrated into the new OS, the resultant new OxygenOS will be showcased at an event where the winner will be flown down by the company for the launch to attend the event.
Additionally, the winner will also receive a OnePlus device to experience your chosen feature.
This is not the first time the smartphone manufacturer company has asked for suggestions from users. Earlier, the suggestions provided have been used to include features like gaming mode, tweaking the functionality of the alert slider and gesture controls.
If you have ideas for OxygenOS and want your feature to be a part of it, send your entries soon!
