Motorola Edge+ Launched With 108MP Camera, Snapdragon 865 For $999
After a long time, Motorola is again trying to get into the flagship segment with the brand new Moto Edge and Edge+. The series is to be Motorola’s first attempt at the curved edge segment.
As per the specification, both smartphones will support 5G networking and will come with top-notch processing and camera capabilities.
It can be said that Motorola’s Edge series will be on par with flagship smartphones from OnePlus, Samsung, Vivo, Apple, and Redmi.
Motorola Edge+ Specs
The Motorola Edge+ comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, the highlight remains the 90-degree angle curved edges.
Moto Edge+ is based on the Android 10 and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The smartphone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. Motorola Edge is powered by a battery of 5000mAh and supports 18W TurboPower fast charging, 5W wireless power-sharing, and 15W wireless charging.
Moto Edge+ sports a triple rear camera set up, including a 108MP primary camera along with a 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens. The smartphone features a 25MP punch-hole camera on the front.
Motorola Edge Specs
Moto Edge Specs features the same display specifications as Edge+, however, a little weaker specs as compared to Moto Edge+. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery and supports 18W TurboPower charging.
Moto Edge sports a triple rear camera set up including a 64MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
Price
The Moto Edge Plus is priced for $999 in the US and will go on sale on May 14. Meanwhile, the global variant is priced for €1,199.
The normal Moto Edge variant is priced at €599 and is coming to Europe and Latin America next month.
Motorola Edge series price in India is expected to differ from the global price. As of now, there is no word about the launch of the Edge series in India.
