For that, users have to let the Immerse app take a picture of their right ear. Then, the app runs an algorithm to study the structure of the scanned ear and determine how it receives sound.
Capturing the ear image lets the app “create your personalized spatial audio profile in under a minute and delivers the sound your ears are meant to hear.”
The website for the Immerse app claims that it lets you “hear game audio as you hear sounds in the real world.”
