Google Officially Launches Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL | Google Event
Google said Pixel users have reported high satisfaction with their devices. Now, at the latest ‘Made By Google’ Event, they’ve come up with the new members of the family, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The company has emphasized on the development of AI along with hardware to bring the next breakthrough device.

The bumped up specs of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL put the devices in competition with flagships from other Android device makers.
The company has improved on Google Assistant capabilities for the Pixel phones just like they have done for new Google Home hardware. Pixel devices can broadcast messages, will have new routines, etc.
Pixel devices have an all aluminum body. The power button is now differently colored. As expected, known through rumors and leaks, Google has opted to remove the 3.5mm dinosaur from their next generation smartphones. You can add the same using an adapter.
Both devices are IP68 water resistant and have improved on battery life.
Always-On display allows you see notifications without turning waking the device from sleep. There are new live wallpapers on the home screen with subtle movements. The search bar has been taken to bottom and it remains there when swiping between home screens.
They have made faster to reach Google Assistant. With Active Edge feature you can squeeze the phone to turn on Google Assistant.
Google Lens allows users to take pictures of text convert it to its digital form. Like you can save contact details.
There will be ARStickers for Pixel devices. These will live animated creators which you can add through the camera. Google has partnered with Stranger Things for dedicated ARStickers.
Improvements have been in the camera section. Google has announced lifelong unlimited Photos storage for Pixel devices. People can even upload 4K content.
