Will Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 “Blackout Mode” Leave Fortnite & PUBG Behind?
Even though the Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite have a head start on the battle royale genre, Call of Duty is finally catching up on the popular gaming format with the Black Ops 4. The upcoming release which will bring new gameplay modes, larger maps, and weapons.
Dubbed as “Blackout,” this version will be the first in a league of major gaming franchises to experiment with the battle royale format. Those who have already played Fortnite Battle Royale or PUBG will experience a familiar feeling with Blackout.
The standard battle royale routine has been implemented in this game too with a couple of changes like 88 players are air-dropped into a massive map as compared to 100 participants in PUBG or Fortnite.
But again, even if you are familiar with the fast-paced gameplay of Call of Duty, Blackout will be a completely new experience for you. Honestly, Blackout seems like a polished version of PUBG.
It will be launched next month on Oct 12, but those who are eager to catch a glimpse, can pre-order the game to enjoy a week of private beta gaming experience.
