The Nothing ear (1) App Appears On Play Store Ahead Of Launch
Carl Pei’s startup Nothing is making a lot of noise on the internet. The first pair of truly wireless earphones from the company, the ear (1), is set to launch on June 27.
Till now, the company has already revealed some of the design info and the price. The ear (1) will cost $99 / €99 / £99 / ₹5,999. However, the app for the same has appeared on the Google Play Store.
Our first look at the Nothing ear (1) Android App
From the app snapshots, the interface looks pretty sleek and minimal. You have battery info of both the buds on the main page with two elements, “Hear” and “Touch,” but we don’t yet know their functionality.
Then you have what looks like profile info where you can pair your ear (1) and manage multiple devices. The third snapshot shows us a glimpse of the Noise Cancellation feature, which you can set to Light or Maximum. Pretty self-explanatory. There’s also an equalizer.
Then you have the device details page with the “In-Ear Detection” feature toggle, Find My Devices which rings earbuds to make it easier to find them, Firmware Update, Device Name, Serial Number, and the Disconnect and Forget This Device options.
According to Adam Conway (Author at XDA-Developers), the ear (1) will have a 24-hour battery life with ANC (Automatic Noise Cancellation) with the case. The case has a 570 mAh battery, and 10 minutes of charging will give 6 hours of playback with ANC, which is impressive.
