It’s Official: Android M is Android Marshmallow
Short Bytes: It’s official: Android M is named after your favorite puffy white bonfire treat and is called – Android Marshmallow (Android 6.0).
Just a few minutes ago, Dave Burke, Android’s VP of engineering unveiled the stature on Twitter. The picture shown above is in front of the Building 43, the Android building, at Google’s Monutain View headquarters.
According to the latest SDK, Android Marshmallow will be Android 6.0 and the update is expected to be released soon this fall.
