Xiaomi’s POCO F2 Concept Image Hints At A Water Drop Notch
The first device from Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO — the Pocophone F1 was arguably 2018’s trending smartphone. Now, after its success, the company is expected to launch its successor for which a new leak tips the design and looks, the forthcoming smartphone might carry.
According to a tweet by popular leakster Benjamin Geskin, the successor to the POCO F1, allegedly called the POCO F2 is likely to feature a water drop notch, much like the recent Xiaomi Mi Play. The water drop notch will call for lesser bezels and more screen space.
The concept image further suggests that the POCO F2 could sport two rear cameras at the top left corner with dual LED flash, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, along with the POCO branding at the bottom.

While technical details regarding the purported POCO F2 are behind the veil, it is speculated that the smartphone could be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, given the POCO F1 came with the Snapdragon 845.
We can expect multiple RAM/ROM variants for the POCO F2 as well, along with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
To recall, recently, a listing of the POCO F1 on Geekbench was mistaken to be that of the POCO F2 which hinted at a Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM.
As a reminder, the aforementioned information is just a concept image as there is nothing concrete backing it.
