Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 To Sport Bezel-Less Look With A Camera Slider
It seems like we are finally getting rid of the whole “notch trend.” Xiaomi President Lin Pin officially posted an image of the upcoming Mi Flagship – Mi Mix 3 — that comes without the notch!
The new Xiaomi device image speaks for itself. But if you still didn’t get it, Mi Mix 3 will house a sliding camera. The same sliding camera which we first saw on Vivo Nex S and later on the Oppo Find X. And also on upcoming Honor Magic 2.
However, the camera sliding mechanism on the new Mi Mix 3 appears to be completely different. The device seems to be divided into two pieces – front and the back. Upon a closer look, you will see the whole back part can be slid above to reveal the camera and all sensors.
This isn’t the case with Vivo and Oppo where they carry a camera pop up mechanism in the body. Not to mention, the previous Mi Mix devices which hold the camera at the bottom.
We are not sure that the rendered image is the final design of the Mi Mix 3, but since, the Xiaomi President posted it himself, the device might retain the same look.
The Weibo post also mentions that Xiaomi is going to launch the new Mi device in October. That means we might get one or two leaks before the launch as well.
Taking about leaks, if Chinese manufacturers are moving with a bezel-less screen and a camera slider, why Google Pixel 3 XL would possibly want with a notch?
