The comedy-entertainment film Cirkus was released in theaters on December 23, 2022. It was the third time Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty had worked together, following their 2018 cop movie Simmba and their cameo appearance in Sooryavanshi, which starred Akshay Kumar and was an expansion of Rohit’s cop universe.

However, Cirkus was a colossal failure at the box office, despite being released before Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The film was unable to draw audiences to the theaters and only made Rs 35.65 crore net in India (via Bollywood Hungama). So now it will be interesting to see if Cirkus will find a home on Netflix‘s OTT platform or not.
When will Cirkus be released on Netflix?

Cirkus: Everything you need to know
For the first time in his career, Ranveer Singh played two roles in the Rohit-Shetty-directed film. Set in the 1960s, Cirkus is based on William Shakespeare’s comedy The Comedy of Errors. The film’s story follows two pairs of identical twins who are separated at birth. And when they happen to meet after many years, it leads to a comic turn of wild and confounding events.
Apart from him, Varun Sharma played a dual role, and Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez played the two leading women. Other supporting cast members include Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Vrajesh Hirjee, Tiku Talsania, Ashwini Kalsekar, Siddhartha Jadhav, Murali Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, Brijendra Kala, Anil Charanjeett, Sulabha Arya, and Vijay Patkar among others.
