The Vivo X200T is officially set to launch in India on January 27. The device becomes the fourth addition to the flagship X200 lineup and marks the debut of a “T” variant in Vivo’s premium series. Vivo is positioning the X200T around camera performance and everyday usability, rather than highlighting benchmark-driven specifications.

It is expected to position itself between the regular X300 and the smaller X200 FE, offering a well-rounded feature set at a relatively competitive price. This strategy is not very different from what OnePlus and iQOO are doing with their flagship series.

Confirmed Camera Features

Vivo has confirmed that the X200T will feature a triple-camera setup with 50MP ZEISS lenses. The rear system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom with OIS. Furthermore, the phone keeps the circular camera module seen across the X200 lineup. ZEISS tuning focuses on natural colours, sharp portraits, and better low-light photography, making it suitable for travel and street shots.

Performance and Software

According to Vivo, the X200T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset to deliver balanced performance for daily use. Vivo pairs the processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage to ensure faster app loading and smoother multitasking. In addition, the phone will come in 12GB RAM variants with up to 512GB of storage and will ship with OriginOS 6. Vivo is more concerned with the phone’s performance endurance rather than its performance in benchmarking tests. The X200T will come with OriginOS 6.

Expected Display and Battery Specifications

Leaks have revealed that the Vivo X200T features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will provide smoother scrolling, animation, and gaming experiences. The phone is expected to come with a 6,200mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the 6,500mAh battery on the X200 FE. The phone supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

Expected Pricing

Leaks indicate that Vivo could price the X200T at around below pricing:

  • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 59,999
  • 12GB + 512GB: Rs 69,999

At this price level, the phone is expected to compete with several premium smartphones in the Rs 60,000 range. Vivo’s biggest strength could be its ZEISS-backed camera system, an area where the brand has consistently delivered strong results.
