Samsung ‘Galaxy Fold’ Images Leaked Hours Ahead Of Launch
Samsung is all prepped up to host its Unpacked event today, where we will see the launch of the Galaxy S10 series. Alongside, the company’s first foldable smartphone could also make its entry and the new leak further hints at what it would be like.
According to a report by Mobi Flip, the foldable smartphone could be called Galaxy Fold and come with a thin design, as opposed to previous rumors.
The leaked images further suggest that the device will have one large screen which will decrease when folded. The device is expected to fold inward, much like a book, which is differing from the outward folding scenarios we have seen previously.
Furthermore, the images tip at dual front-facing snappers for the smartphone.
While tech specs remain unknown at the time of writing, the Samsung Galaxy Fold could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with 12GB of RAM. It might come in two ROM options: 512GB and 1TB.
There could be a big 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display (4.58-inch when folded) and a total of 4,000mAh battery.
However, as concrete details are unavailable, we can’t rely on the information provided. For a better idea, we need to wait until the Samsung Unpacked event, which will commence at 12:30 am (IST), and 11 am (PST).
So stay tuned to this space for more information.
