Redmi 7 With 4,000mAh Battery And Dual Rear Cameras Announced
After numerous rumors, Xiaomi has finally made the Redmi 7 official in China.
The Redmi 7’s main highlight is the 4,000mAh battery which is expected to have up to 400 hours of standby time.
Another attraction is the camera department, which features dual rear cameras (12MP and 2MP) with PDAF, Auto HDR, and Portrait mode. The front snapper stands at 8MP. All the cameras come with support for AI-enabled features.
The smartphone has a 6.26-inch water drop notch display which has an HD+ resolution with an aspect ratio rated at 19:9 and a pixel density of 269ppi.
It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor and comes in three RAM/ROM configurations: 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB, with all options being expandable up to 512GB via a memory card.
The Redmi 7 (with a gradient 3D curved body) is accompanied by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
The Redmi 7 is priced at CNY 699 (2GB/16GB), CNY 799 (3GB/32GB), and CNY 999 (4GB/64GB).
Coming in Charm Night Red, Dream Blue, and Bright Black color options, the Xiaomi Redmi 7 will be up for grabs from March 26 onwards.
Additionally, Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi AirDots wireless earbuds for CNY 99 and a washing machine for CNY 799.
