Realme X With 16MP Popup Camera And SD 710 Launched In India
Realme’s much-awaited smartphone Realme X has finally launched in India today. The smartphone comes with a 6.53-inches Full HD+ Super AMOLED display (2340 x 1080) and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Inside the hood, Realme X is powered by 2.2Ghz Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset and bundles up to 8GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device is 128 GB and there is no option to expand the storage using an external memory card.
Realme X runs on Realme’s proprietary ColorOS 6 which is based on Android 9 Pie. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In the camera department, it has a 48MP camera with the Sony IMX586 sensor on board. On the front, the smartphone houses a pop-up camera of 16MP.
The pop-up selfie camera enables the company to offer over 91% screen-to-body ratio. Realme has claimed that the pop-up camera can appear in just 0.74 seconds and retracts automatically if it detects a fall.
Realme X houses a 3,765mAH battery and the smartphone supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging tech.
Realme has launched its feature-rich mid-budget smartphone at INR 16,999 for the base variant having 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The 8GB, 128GB variant costs INR 19,999.
Realme X will go on sale from July 24 onwards and is touted to give tough competition to Samsung Galaxy M40, Redmi Note 7 Pro and the upcoming Redmi K20.
