Nokia 2.2 Has A Removable Battery And It Hits Right At Nostalgia
There was a time when phones fell and split open into battery, keypad and back case. Today, if you drop a smartphone, be prepared to part with a decent sum of money to get its screen or back replaced.
But HMD has recently launched Nokia 2.2 which brings back the removable battery and also exudes modern design at the same time with its notched display.
Nokia 2.2 is a stripped-down version of Nokia 2 and is available for just $139 at Best Buy and Amazon. Despite its cheap pricing, it is a decent budget smartphone with the latest Android version, two years of updates, and three years of security updates.
The budget Nokia 2.2 comes with a 5.71-inch (1520 x 720) IPS LCD display with a notch, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with the option to extend it using a memory card.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC having four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2GHz. The design is modern but the back and sides are made of plastic which is understandable given the price tag of $139.
It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie camera.
However, the most interesting thing about the phone is its removable 3,000mAh battery which hits right at the nostalgia. Additionally, there is a headphone jack as well.
