Google Pixel 3 XL Lite’s Leaked Renders Hint At Notchless Design
Following the launch of this year’s flagship duo, the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, Google has been part of the rumor mill to launch a slimmed down variant of the Pixel 3 for a while. Now, new leaks suggest we might see a lowered down version of the elder sibling as well.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 3 XL Lite, along with the Pixel 3 Lite.
While both the ‘Liter’ variants of the Pixel 3 flagships will be reminiscent of the original Pixel 3 smartphones in terms of design, the former smartphones will feature thicker bezels. Additionally, the Pixel 3 XL Lite won’t sport a notch, unlike the Pixel 3 XL.
The Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite will come with a single speaker doubling as an earpiece, single front cameras, and will take up the 3.5mm audio jack which is not found in the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL Lite.
Both the laddered down variants will feature a single-camera setup, much like the original Pixel 3 duo with the dual-tone rear part. However, the chassis for the two will be made up of polycarbonate, unlike the glass built found in the expensive Pixel 3 devices.
While technical specs for the purported smartphones are scarce, the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite are likely to span 5.5-inch and 6-inch, respectively, both being Full HD+ in nature.
Just to clear the mist, we lack concrete details, therefore, I expect you to take the above-mentioned details with a pinch of salt.
