Nokia 9 PureView Featuring Five Rear Cameras Launched In India
After much wait, HMD Global-owned Nokia has finally made its high-end smartphone — the Nokia 9 PureView — official in India.
The Nokia 9 PureView’s main USP is a rear camera setup that consists of five camera sensors, all rated at 12MP, along with ZEISS lens. Up front, there is a 20MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
The smartphone comes with support for the Bokeh effect, improved Pro Camera UI, and Google Photos Depth Editor. Another highlight of the smartphone is support for an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone has a 5.99-inch pOLED QHD+ display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. While the display has fewer bezels, it isn’t completely bezel-less and this gets disappointing as many smartphones offer an edge-to-edge experience at a much lower price.
The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform and this raises another question about the hefty price tag of the smartphone.
The Nokia 9 PureView comes equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 3,320mAh battery with support for Qi wireless charging and runs Android 9.0 Pie.
Connectivity-wise, the smartphone comes stacked with USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and NFC.
The smartphone comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. Besides this, the phone supports the Face Unlock feature.
The Nokia 9 PureView comes with a price of Rs 49,999 and will be available to buy via Flipkart, Nokia’s website, and retail stores.
