Samsung earlier confirmed a February launch for the Galaxy S22 series at its Unpacked 2022 event. However, it seems that revealing that information wasn’t enough. A new leak with Samsung’s website comes as its source says the Samsung Galaxy S22 series’ exact launch date.

The Galaxy S22 series will house the Exynos 2200 SoC that Samsung has been working on for several years. Likewise, the tech giant will formally announce new products at the Unpacked event in February. According to TechInsider, Samsung’s website has a calendar link for the Unpacked 2022 event, highlighting the details.

Samsung has added calendar invites for Google, Outlook, and Yahoo, but neither is viewable. Tech Insider found a functional Google Calendar link on the Unpacked 2022 website. According to the invite, the ‘Get Ready to Break the Rules’ event will start at 15:00 UTC on February 9.

Hence, the Galaxy S22 series has a definite launch date, and it was coming on February 9, 2021. You will be able to pre-reserve the device from February 14 through February 21. Further, the official pre-bookings will begin on February 21 and last for four days.

However, that’s not all. Another leak confirms the European pricing of the Galaxy S22 series, which reveals more information. Reliable leaker Roland Quandt has released potential European pricing for the Galaxy S22 series, as per a report from Android Police.

These prices are similar to those of the S21 lineup, except for one inconsistency. Likewise, the base S22 Ultra variant might only come with 8GB RAM instead of the 12GB that the base S21 Ultra variant has. The new S22 ultra might come with the exact pricing despite the RAM difference, which sets back an “upgrade.”
