Today, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi announced Redmi Note 6 Pro for its Indian customers in a launch event at New Delhi.

The device, which carries a four-camera setup, is priced at Rs.13,999 for the 4 GB variant and Rs.15,999 for the 6GB variant. It is available from 23rd November at the Mi and Flipkart Store.

A successor to the Redmi Note 5 pro, the new Xiaomi device is the company’s first to carry a four-camera setup – A 20MP+2MP dual camera on the front and 12MP+5MP dual camera at the back.

Following the Huawei branding technique, the Xiaomi device camera is surrounded by AI (Artificial Intelligence) buzzwords like  “AI Portrait Selfie,” “AI Portrait 2.0,” and “AI Dual Front Camera.”

As for the specifications, the device comes with Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB of expandable storage. It has a battery of 4000 mAh, which the company claims to give uninterrupted two-day juice.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch display and a 19:9 aspect ratio, due to the notch. The Full HD + display has a resolution of 2280×1080 and 403 PPI. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

If you notice, the device does not introduce any significant changes from its predecessor apart from the notch and two cameras at the front. But since the device works on Android 8.1 Oreo and is likely to get an Android Pie update, it is worth upgrading to.

Xiaomi also announced a black Friday offer where you can get up to Rs.1500 on both the Redmi Note 6 variants.
