After the success of the POCO F1 smartphone in India, Xiaomi is now prepping up to launch a new smartphone under the same brand.

According to a tweet by POCO India’s Twitter handle, a new POCO device is expected to make its entry in India tomorrow, that is, December 25.

It could either be the alleged POCO F2 or the POCO F1’s Kevlar version with 6GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM options.

For those who don’t know, the POCO F1’s Armoured Edition is made up of Kevlar and is currently available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage.

To recall, the POCO F1 sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ full-screen display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The device comes in three RAM/ROM options — 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM, and 8GB RAM/256GB ROM.

Camera-wise, the smartphone has two rear snappers (12-megapixel and 5-megapixel) and a 20-megapixel front shooter. The device supports AI camera features.

It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 Pie. Additionally, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
