For years, the Windows OS has been the primary offering from Microsoft and many people used it as their first operating system. The company made some significant changes to the latest version Windows 10 which is now offered as a service.
As a random thought, one might imagine how would Windows 10 have looked if it was designed by Apple.
UI designer Kamer Kaan Avdan has created a new concept Windows 10 (via Hot Hardware) that comes with a touch of Apple’s design language.
Now, one would say that Apple has already created macOS which is considered better than Windows 10 in some ways.
But here we are talking about fusing the existing Windows features with the UI that Apple has already created for its operating system.
Avdan’s Windows 10 concept shows the Finder getting replaced by File Explorer, Safari coming to Windows 10, redesigned Action Center, iMessage, and much more. Also, the dock got replaced by the Start Menu and controls to minimize, maximize, and close apps are on the right-hand side.
The concept certainly brings a refreshed look to the users of Windows 10. But there will be mixed reviews on whether Avdan’s creation is better than what we currently have. For instance, Avdan has added MacOS’ Menu bar to his Windows 10 concept. Some people would find it less useful, but if we consider how macOS apps work, the Menu Bar brings unified controls for almost every app.
Anyway, that was just a concept and open to imagination and interpretation. Let’s see what other amazing Windows 10 concepts we see in the coming future.
