The Mandalorian, which premiered in November 2019, follows the adventures of Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), the titular hero and a Mandalorian bounty hunter. We saw the Mandalorian form a bond with the young, force-sensitive child Grogu over the course of the first two seasons (better known among fans as Baby Yoda). He’s faced criminals, monsters, and the last remnants of the evil Empire, and no one knows where his story will go from here. That said, here’s when and how to watch The Mandalorian Season 3 for free.

What time will The Mandalorian Season 3 air on Disney+?

The Mandalorian Season 3 is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 1, 2023, at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT/ 1.30 p.m. IST. Like its first two seasons, The Mandalorian: Season 3 will consist of a total of eight episodes that will air weekly until the season finale on April 19. While we are on that note, the streamer released a new season of the animated Star Wars: The Bad Batch earlier this year, and you can check out our streaming guide on the same – here.

Can you watch it for free?

Unfortunately, because the streamer does not offer a free trial period, you will have to spend some money and subscribe if you want to catch up on this movie and a slew of others as they air. The good news is that you can watch Disney+ on your smartphone, tablet, computer, or any other compatible streaming device. However, there are a few offers that you can use to get a free account on the streaming service.

  1. Jio Postpaid Plans start at Rs 599.

  3. Airtel postpaid and prepaid plans start at Rs 399.
  4. Airtel Xtreme Fiber plans start at Rs 999.

The Mandalorian Season 3: Everything you need to know

The third season begins with Din Djarin and Grogu reuniting after the Armorer advised Din that he needed to make amends for his misdeeds (removing his helmet) in order to become a Child of the Watch Mandalorian again, and Grogu chose to forego Jedi training and journey alongside Mando instead. Their quests will take them to Mandalore, the cursed Mandalorian homeland planet long abandoned in ruins, so that Din can achieve forgiveness by discovering the “living waters.”

Meanwhile, tensions surrounding the renowned Darksaber remain. The weapon, which is currently in Din’s hands, is a Mandalorian symbol of leadership and grants its bearer the power to rule Mandalore – a duty that Din does not particularly want, but his frenemy and fellow Mandalorian Bo-Katan does. The problem is that in order for the right to rule to be true, the Darksaber must be earned in war. (Or so the legend goes.)

The Mandalorian Season 3 stars Pedro Pascal as Mando himself and Din Djarin. Viewers can also look forward to the return of Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Omid Abtahi as Dr. Pershing, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Captain Carson Teva, and Emily Swallow as the Armorer, among other series regulars. Christopher Lloyd is also expected to play an unnamed role. It’s unclear whether Temuera Morrison’s Boba Fett or Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano will appear this season – but fans can only hope.

If you wish to catch up on or revisit Din and Grogu’s adventures prior to the release of Season 3, all of The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2, as well as The Book of Boba Fett, are available on Disney+.
