Functioning as the feature directorial debut of Emmy-winning director Benjamin Caron (Andor), the latest heist film features Julianne Moore, John Lithgow, Justice Smith, Sebastian Stan, and Briana Middleton. Sharper will tell the story of a New York con artist who tries to con the crème de la crème of Manhattan, many of whom are among the world’s wealthiest people.

Sharper looks set to scratch that mystery-crime itch that is sure to be gnawing after Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and is guaranteed to be jam-packed with numerous double crosses and various twists and turns. What time will Sharper premiere on Apple TV+?
Sharper, a collaboration between A24 and Apple TV+, will be released on Apple’s streaming service. The heist film set in the “Big Apple” will be available to stream on Apple TV+ beginning Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12.01 am PT/ 9. 01 am PT/ 10. 31 pm IST.

What is Sharper about?
According to Apple TV+, the movie’s official synopsis is as follows:
“No one is who they seem in Sharper, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set amongst New York City’s bedrooms, barrooms and boardrooms. Characters compete for riches and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust, and jealousy that will keep audiences guessing until the final moment.’’
So, we know The Movie is going to be a thriller involving a lot of money. But as we look into some of the smaller details that contribute to the big picture, one thing, or rather, one character, stands out the most. Max appears to be a con artist, and it would be unfair to label him a thief. But in Sharper, he plans to defraud his mother’s billionaire boyfriend. Sharper’s scam will be an ongoing plot with a few subplots that will tie everything together. Max, for example, cannot pull off this heist on his own and will require assistance. Could it be his girlfriend? Sharper also includes several other characters.
Sharper, without a doubt, has a lot of moving parts that will contribute to the story. And as the synopsis suggests, the characters will compete for riches, and it is ultimately a game about ambition, lust, jealousy, and greed. So there may be a character death near the end; we never know, but we can certainly keep guessing until it comes out!
