If you watched The Glory season one, you undoubtedly got to episode eight and wondered where the revenge went. We’ve been waiting almost as long as Moon Dong-eun (Song Hye-kyo) for the ex-bullying victim to unleash her long-threatened wrath on her former tormentors. So we got to the final episode, and… well, there wasn’t much revenge yet. At this rate, the vengeance will have been served cold, then returned to room temperature, potentially causing subsequent gastrointestinal upset. That’s retaliation for you.

What will The Glory Part 2 be about?
It is reasonable to assume that Dong- eun’s plan will succeed, though probably not without some bumps in the road and, perhaps, some reflection on the existential cost of retaliation (like missing out on decades of living). Through a very intricate series of flashbacks, we have known from the beginning that Dong-eun intends to make her bullies’ lives on Earth hell and the plan appears to involve the gang turning on each other. Death is too simple; the vengeful angel wants them to suffer as she did.
First was Myeong-oh, who Dong-eun turned against his supercilious employer Jae-jun, persuading him to steal DNA samples and establish the father of Yeon- jin’s daughter is actually Jae-jun and not her spouse Do-young. It appears that Dong-eun did not kill Myeong-oh, thus we must ascertain who did before the closing credits. Cabin crew Hye-jeong came next, agreeing to serve Dong-needs eun’s in exchange for avoiding her vengeance. Do you think she’ll be left alone? We don’t. Dong-eun is not a patient person, even though Hye-jeong was a victim of Yeon-jin in some ways.
Dong-wrath eun’s hasn’t yet reached Yeon-jin and Jae-jun, the two absolute worst, but when it does, we anticipate it will come in the form of Ye-sol, their daughter, who is both the ideal weapon to use against them and remarkably kind and sweet for the daughter of two outright sadists.
