The Flash Season 9 Episode 1 will premiere on February 8, 202 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT on The CW replacing Stargirl. The show is scheduled to have 13 episodes, and the episodes will be released weekly on The CW app and the channel for US viewers.
Unfortunately, international viewers will have very limited access to this app. However, according to a previous agreement with Netflix, the entire season will be available there eight days after the finale premieres, i.e., May 24. If you don’t have Netflix, you can watch a few season 8 episodes on The CW app. But those are limited and will expire soon. You can also rent previous seasons and episodes from Amazon Prime Video.

Everything you need to know
With all of the other Arrowverse shows either completed or canceled, Season 9 of The Flash marks the end of that shared universe. While there have been rumors that David Ramsey’s John Diggle will have his own spin-off show as either a mentor or a Green Lantern, nothing has been confirmed. Ramsey has also confirmed that he will appear in Season 9, but only as the Spartan, not in an animated green suit. You can also check out the official synopsis for the show below:
After defeating the Reverse Flash once and for all, the ninth season of The Flash picks up one week later following their epic battle, and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) are reconnecting and growing closer than ever before. But when a deadly group of Rogues descends on Central City led by a powerful new threat, The Flash and his team—Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Meta-Empath Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet), the light-powered meta Allegra Garcia (Kayla Compton), brilliant tech-nerd Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight), and reformed cryogenics thief Mark Blaine (Jon Cor)—must once again defy impossible odds to save the day. But as The Rogues are defeated, a deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen’s heroic legacy. And in their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits, in order to save Central City one last time.
The show will pick up right where the last one left off. While the synopsis does not reveal who the new villain will be, the Red Death is the most likely candidate, given that we’ve already seen a set video revealing the costume. For those unfamiliar, the Red Death is a version of Batman (or, in this case, Batwoman) who steals the Speed Force connection from Flash. In the comics, Batman loses his Robins and then forces himself to join forces with his version of the Flash, resulting in the Red Death having multiple personalities and Flash eventually gaining control of the body.
The Flash Season 9 stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, and Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow. It also includes Danielle Nicolet, Kayla Compton, Jon Cor, and Brandon McKnight, among others.
