At the Ubisoft Forward event, the company revealed that Aiden Pearce, the protagonist of the Watch Dogs 1, will be made available in Watch Dogs: Legion. The game is scheduled for a release on October 29, but Aiden Pearce will arrive as a fully playable character sometime after the game launches.
Aiden Pearce will arrive with his unique character arc that will be available as a part of the DLC included in the season pass. Pearce has a beard now, but he still has his usual hat and a leather jacket.
Watch Dogs: Legion will be available on Xbox One, PC, PS4, and Stadia. It can be accessed on Xbox Series X and Series S from November 10 and for PS5 at some point when the console releases.
The gameplay
We also got to see a new trailer of the game featuring some of the characters that players will be able to recruit in the game, which is set in the premise of London.
You’d be able to recruit or play as anyone from the entire population of London. Any character you see on the game can join your resistance and with their unique backstory, personality, and skillset.
To customize the recruits, you can unlock the unique perks of each member of your Legion based on your strategy. Every character can be upgraded within classes such as Hacker, Infiltrator, and Assaulter.
Finally, British rapper, Stormzy, will also make an appearance in Watch Dogs: Legion with his own mission.
As we are on the topic, the French studio also had some other surprises up its sleeves. For instance, Ubisoft announced the rumored Prince of Persia Remake, which is set to release on January 21, 2021. Other than that, we finally got to see a full reveal of Immortals: Fenyx Rising, Riders Republic, and Scott Pilgrim VS The World: Complete Edition.
