Everything you need to know
The Ashim Ahluwalia (Daddy) directorial adaptation, like the original, is set in the fictional Hampton International School in New Delhi, where the privileged children of the city’s wealthiest families realize one day that they’ve been joined by a slew of new working-class kids. These new kids struggle to fit in, and they are made to feel like outsiders because they lack privilege. As tensions rise, a murder disrupts the entire ecosystem. You can also check out the official synopsis for the series below:
Netflix India’s young adult series is a classic example of the mishaps and mayhem that will unravel when everyone is under the same roof, paths intertwined, ideologies clash and sentiments run high at Hampton International. Like any emotional upheaval, chaos is right around the corner. But when there’s a murder in the mix, betrayals are rampant and no one’s who they say they are. After all, with clandestine relationships, come clandestine betrayals!
Slated for release on February 3, Class stars Ayesha Kanga as Yashika, Chayan Chopra as Dhruv, Chintan Rachchh as Faruq, Moses Koul as Sharan, Naina Bhan as Koel, and Zeyn Shaw as Veer. The series is written by a team of five — Rajesh Devraj (Gold), Kersi Khambatta (Being Cyrus), Raghav Kakkar (Faraaz), Bhaskar Hazarika (Ravening), and Kashyap Kapoor.
