The Academy member nomination voting period ended on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023, at 5 p.m. PT. You must have a good night’s sleep and rise early. Last year’s candidates were released at 5:18 a.m. PT/8:18 a.m. ET. And historically, every announcement aired around that time. So, be prepared to wake up to watch who was nominated and who was passed over as the nominees are announced.
Watching the announcement for the 2023 Academy Awards nominees is quite simple. That’s because the announcement will very certainly be live-streamed on The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Twitter page, as it was last year.
