The first step in the journey of becoming a UI designer is learning about a new tool. However, many quit before they even begun because the general perception is that the UI designer tools are not easy to understand.
Some UI design tools are certainly hard to get a grasp with, but that is not the case with Wondershare Mockitt. It’s an online UI/UX design platform that can be used to create prototypes, vector designs, wireframes, flowcharts, and other interactive diagrams. Mockitt makes the job of collaboration easy and intuitive. We have been using the service for quite some time and it is like a shortcut to learning UI designing.
The design tool is extremely intuitive and because of that, it is not only for UI designers. It can be used in a number of scenarios. Say you work in an ad-agency, you can build a quick prototype of an interactive ad to woo your clients.
If you are a YouTuber, you can create a logo for your channel. If you’re a blogger, you can self-design your own website — the possibilities with Wondershare Mockitt are endless.
It’s a great tool for professionals as well. If you are a product manager or heading the marketing team, you can create a prototype which can act as a starting point.
The best part about Wondershare Mockitt is the ease of doing things. All the options are easy to discover and use. If you are confused on how to use the tool, the team actively share tutorials on their YouTube channel that are of great help.
If you are a beginner or don’t want to start from scratch, Wondershare Mockitt has a huge pile of prototyping and design templates to choose from. There are templates for login screens, website homepages, and more. In the library, you will also find thousands of icons and symbols that you can add to your prototype.
Of course, a website design or app design is incomplete without interactive animations. For that, you can add multiple screen states and describe what the screen should look like in the next state.
Once you have created multiple screen states, you can connect them through an event like a tap, or a slide left. This way, you will be able to add interactivity to your project. Wondershare Mockitt allows you to preview your projects in real-time so you can make the changes on the spot.
Another great feature of Wondershare Mockitt is that you can work on a project with your team members in real-time. If you are heading a design project, you can also set certain design standards for your team to follow. All-in-all, collaboration is extremely easy on Mockitt.
Last but not least, you can create flowcharts using the tool. Like Mockitt’s UI design, you can use a template, import a prototype diagram, collaborate with people and edit the flow chart in real-time, and do much more.
Mockitt provides the perfect platform for creating interactive prototypes quickly and with a zero learning curve. The drag-and-drop linking and easy link editing lets you create highly interactive prototypes that feel like the actual final product. The advantage of creating a life-like prototype is that it helps the project’s stakeholders get a crisp virtual view of the end product that they can fully interact with.
Another great USP of Mockitt is how well the projects are synchronised for the entire team to view and edit. Starting from planning to developing the project — the entire team has the option to do all of this together.
Of course, let’s not forget the fact that Wondershare Mockitt is way cheaper than other tools in the space. In the free version, you can create up to three projects. However, the downloads have watermarks and you can only use five templates.
To avoid that, you can take up the personal plan that is available for $12.9 /month or the enterprise plan which is available for $99 per month (per user). Check the price details on Mockitt pricing page.
