21 Inc. is an Andreessen Horowitz-backed startup and it has released its first product in the market. The 21 Bitcoin computer from the company aims to integrate this digital currency in your daily life by making the bitcoin mining game easy and profitable.

The 21 Bitcoin computer comes with complete access to the Bitcoin network and is coupled with a Linux Box Bitcoin ASIC miner combo. With this, you can mine the cryptocurrency and trade the digital goods for more profit and fun.

You can use the device independently or plug it in your PC. The 21 Bitcoin Computer also comes with a micropayments server to handle the payments and avoid any third-party interference.

In a Medium post, CEO of, Balaji S. Srinivasan explains that if your are an entrepreneur or developer, you can trade digital goods at the command line using Bitcoin. Talking about the company’s 21 Bitcoin Computer, the CEO says that it sells API calls for Bitcoin, like English-to-Chinese translation or file conversion.

Other features are:

The  21 Bitcoin Computer is a standalone Linux machine running a custom version of Linux. You can plug it with some existing Mac, Windows, or Linux machine.


It comes with everything you need, including USB-to-laptop cable, a 128GB SD card, power supply, WiFi adapter, and Raspberry Pi 2.

This $400 product will start shipping on November and you can pre-order it right now from Amazon.
