Tesla Model 3 updates 2020
1. 100 kWh battery
As per a source, it might be possible that Tesla adds a 100kWh battery to Model 3 by the end of 2020. Currently, the Model 3 has a maximum range of 322 miles provided by a 75kWh battery pack.
Adding a 25kWh battery could boost the range by up to 400 miles. Also, there will be better performance figures.
2. Ludicrous Mode
Back in 2016, Elon Musk replied to a tweet confirming that there would be a Ludicrous Mode in Tesla Model 3. It’s been years now since the launch of Model 3, but there is still no Ludicrous Mode.
However, as per the sources, Tesla plans to incorporate a Ludicrous Mode in the Performance variant of Tesla Model 3.
For those who don’t know about Ludicrous Mode, let me tell you in simple words. Ludicrous Mode is nothing but a feature that boosts the acceleration of vehicles by using the maximum capacity of motors and battery.
3. TPMS with Bluetooth
Bluetooth functionality will be added to the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The upgrade is more likely beneficial for Tesla than its customers. It reduces the wiring in the car. Model 3 has almost 1 mile of wiring as stated by Elon in one of his statements. This feature will reduce the wiring in the electric vehicle.
4. Air Suspension
Although it was mentioned in the official parts list of Tesla Model 3 that there would be an air suspension in the latest model, Elon Musk made it clear by his tweet that there will be no Air suspension for Model 3 and Model Y.
This is incorrect. No air suspension planned for 3/Y. Only S/X & Cybertruck have/will have air suspension.

Air Suspension gives the freedom to the driver to adjust the height of the car according to driving conditions. You can lower down the height on highways for better aerodynamics and increase it on the city road as per the requirements.
Apart from the above updates, it might be possible to have optional upgraded tires for model 3. Tesla will be working on enhancing its Autopilot mode and there will be regular software updates as usual.
