One of the most popular WhatsApp alternatives, Telegram, has rolled out an in-app video editor in the new update. Other amazing features like animated stickers, two-step verification, and speaking GIFs have also been added to the app.

The two-step verification feature will make the data of the users more secure. Users have to just go through the Privacy and Settings option to activate the two-step verification. The feature secures the account from any malicious activities like account cloning.

The Telegram in-app video editor is very easy to use and one can access it by tapping the send button and selecting a video. In the Telegram video editor, one can change the exposure and contrast of the video. The editor also allows the user to add different animated stickers and text to the video.

The best part about the Telegram in-app video editor is that one can also change the compression settings of the video and adjust the quality. The videos also come with a self destruct timer that is quite a feature people are waiting to see in WhatsApp.

Speaking GIFs and Animated Stickers

The addition of speaking GIFs and animated stickers to the platform is surely going to help in improving chat experience.

Similar to WhatsApp and Hike, one can download sticker packs on Telegram that are both cute and interactive. These sticker packs include the Mia Bunny, Animated Text, Patrick, Panda Emic, Paper Boy, and a lot more of them.

Telegram Messenger is leaving no stone unturned to take on WhatsApp. Telegram has covered a long journey with more than 500 million downloads on the Google Play store.

But still, the app has to go a long way to compete with WhatsApp as the Facebook-owned company has 5 Billion downloads on Google Play Store.
