Sony WF-1000XM4 launched in India

Sony has been a major contender in the premium TWS segment in India. The WF-1000XM3’s were one of the most popular, premium TWS earbuds in the subcontinent, thanks to the world-class ANC and features that it offers. It was only a matter of time before Sony brought WF-1000XM4, the successor to XM3’s to the country, and they’re finally here.

Sony launched the XM4’s last year and although they don’t bring a generational leap over the XM3’s, it does bring marginal improvements and kind of solves the problems people had with XM3’s, i.e., the battery life and build. Lots of reviews online have also reported marginal improvements in sound quality, but we didn’t get to test them yet. Sony, I hope you’re reading this.

We tried the XM3’s before and the sound quality was astonishing for a TWS and was unlike any other TWS earphones that we’ve used to date.

The XM4’s come with all the bells and whistles like the custom V1 processor for best-in-class ANC and LDAC support.

The price of WF-1000XM4’s starts at Rs 19,999 or about $269 US and there are two colors on offer — Silver and Black. You can buy one starting January 16 from the official Sony India website and other e-tailers.

Have you tried Sony’s TWS lineup? How did you like the quality of music via them? Don’t forget to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
