The Samsung and Google collaboration was one of the main highlights of Google I/O. For starters, Samsung will ditch Tizen OS for WearOS in its smartwatches. Samsung’s first potential WearOS smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch Active 4, has been leaked.
The CAD-based renders of the upcoming Galaxy Watch Active 4 reveal the watch’s design and the color options that it will be available in. The leak comes from the popular and reputed leaker @OnLeaks.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4: Design And Specs
The Galaxy Watch Active 4’s design looks sleeker than its predecessor, the Watch Active 2. The smartwatch will also have new band fasteners and redesigned buttons. The dial of the watch remains circular.
According to the leaker, the smartwatch’s frame is made of aluminum and will come in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. Apart from that, there will also be four color options: Black, Green, Silver, and Gold.
The smartwatch is rumored to be powered by a new Exynos chipset for improved performance on the performance side. This chipset should improve compared to the Exynos 9110 used in the Watch Active 2. These features combined with Google’s WearOS should make it a great overall WearOS smartwatch.
The Galaxy Watch Active 4 is expected to be unveiled at Samsung’s MWC event on June 28.
