Samsung Launches World’s First Monitor That Charges Your Phones Wirelessly

Short Bytes : Tech giant Samsung has developed a new monitor called SE370. This monitor is shipped with in-built charging for phones. To use this feature, your phone must support the Qi wireless charging standard. The Samsung SE370 also comes with AMD FreeSync that provides better refresh rates while gaming.

Admit it, keeping your phone fully charged is the toughest job of the world. Your phone’s apps mysteriously keep draining the juice out of your battery, and in your home, or office- you get tired of searching for your lost charger. Keeping all these problems in mind, Samsung has unveiled a new monitor named SE370 that comes with built-in wireless charging for mobile phones.

Your phone must be in alliance with the new Qi wireless charging standard to support this hardware feature. Phones like Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G3 already come with this technology. The Samsung SE370 monitor with wireless charging also comes with an “eye-saver mode” that reduces the harmful effects of blue light on your eyes- probably just like the f.lux app for Windows, OS X and Mac works.

This SE370 monitor comes in two sizes 23.6 and 27 inches with 1920×1080 resolution. This could a little bit disappointing for those who are accustomed of using bigger monitors, but this dual capability of the monitor will definitely appeal the masses.

The Samsung SE370 monitor with wireless charging comes with inbuilt AMD FreeSync support that makes the refresh rates smoother while playing games if you are using an AMD graphics card.
