Gaming smartphones are currently one of the hottest things in the mobile industry. We have already seen several manufacturers introducing their gaming devices like the Razer Phone, Xiaomi Black Shark, Asus ROG and now Samsung seems to be joining the race.
While the exact details are unclear at the moment, the word is that Samsung has already started working on its gaming smartphone which will be competing with the existing ones in the market.

It is being suspected that the upcoming Galaxy A device powered by Snapdragon 845 is the same device in question. If this is true, the company will most likely be incorporating 8GB of RAM and about 128GB of internal storage in it.
However, there is a possibility that the device would come in multiple internal storage options like 64GB and 256GB as well. The battery capacity is speculated to be of 4,000 mAh battery to support long hours of gaming.
As far as the OS is concerned, Samsung’s gaming smartphone would be running on Android 8.1 Oreo. Given that it’s a gaming device, it could come with the Water Carbon Cooling System — as we saw in Galaxy Note 9.
Lastly, the reports suggest that the smartphone body might just be a “generic design” quite similar to the Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A9.
There is no information about the release dates of the gaming phone, but it is rumored that Samsung is aiming for a late-November or early-December launch owing to the festive season. In any case, it would be interesting to see what Samsung has up its sleeves this time!
