Samsung has finally launched its new flagships Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge today in India. The launch of the much awaited Android smartphone took place in Delhi. It is a big day for the Korean smartphone manufacturer because India is one of the biggest smartphone market for the company. The reception and sales in India will play a big part in deciding the winner of the Samsung vs iPhone battle.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and its companion were launched earlier this month at Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. After the MWC debut, Galaxy S6 was received with open arms and praised for its complete design change and metallic approach. In India, the smartphones will start shipping from in India from April 10 and is currently available for pre-order.

Galaxy S6 comes with a 5.1-inch QHD display, 3GB RAM with Exynos 7420 octa-core processor. Phones will come in three storage variants 32GB, 64GB and 128GB with 16MP rear and 5MP front camera. It runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop coupled with the overhauled TouchWiz UI. The only downside of the phone is a non-removable 2,550mAh battery.
Price of 32GB Galaxy S6 version is Rs. 49,900, while 64GB is priced at Rs. 55,900 and 128GB at Rs. 61,900. Galaxy S6 Edge’s 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions are priced at Rs. 58,900, 64,900 and 70,900 respectively.
