After unveiling the Galaxy J2 Core, Samsung has now launched its successor, dubbed the Galaxy J4 Core. The main highlight of the Galaxy J4 Core is the Android Oreo 8.1 Go Edition operating system it runs.
For those who don’t know, Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition is the optimized version of Android Oreo OS meant for low-end smartphones with low RAM configurations.
As for the tech specs, the Galaxy J4 Core features a 6-inch HD+ TFT Infinity display with a screen resolution rated at 1,480 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM.
There is 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB with the use of a microSD card.
On the camera front, the Galaxy J4 Core has an 8-megapixel rear snapper along with a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device is backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
The smartphone houses dual SIM card slots and is topped with various connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, GLONASS, micro-USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Galaxy J4 Core measures 160.6 x 76.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 177 grams. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core comes in Black, Blue and Gold colour options.
