The first Realme smartphone to get the VoWiFi calling feature update will the be latest flagship Realme X2 Pro. According to the timeline shared for the roll-out of the VoWiFi feature, all Realme devices will get the update by February and March 2020.
In India, as of now, Jio and Airtel have started offering VoWiFi feature to their users. It is clear that all smartphones are not compatible with the latest WiFi Calling feature. Most of the manufacturers are trying to add the feature.
The WiFi calling feature will let the user make a call via WiFi network. Users can call through their phone number without using any third-party app. During WiFi calls users are suggested to use the VoLTE service for the best calling experience.
WiFi calling depends on the range and reliability of the Wi-Fi network. As per an estimate, around 5 MB data will be used for a 5 minutes call over the VoWiFi or the WiFi calling feature. Users can also make VoWiFi calls to a person who doesn’t have the feature.
