While the specifics aren’t known quite yet, there are speculations that we can see zombies in the game or at least Resident Evil 2’s zombie-themed skins.
PUBG has previously collaborated with Suicide Squad to introduce skins in the game, and it could be the same this time. But we are hoping that collaboration will bring even more than just the undead.
There is also a lot of excitement for the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remake which will be released on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
The classic zombie game was initially released in 1998, featuring police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as protagonists in the game who are trying to escape Raccoon City infested with zombies.
PUBG’s biggest rival, Fortnite also had a partnership with Marvel Universe to introduce Avengers: Infinity Wars themed content and characters in the game.
Given that Fortnite has crossed over 200 million active users and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s has brought serious competition in the battle-royale genre, the team behind PUBG needs to up its game as well.
